Privacy Policy

At relnk.io, we believe your words are your own. This policy explains what information we collect when you use Relnk, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Relnk ("we", "us") is the controller of the personal data described here. If anything is unclear, contact us at privacy@relnk.io.

• Account information: your name, email address and password (stored hashed), or, if you sign in with Google, the name, email address and profile picture Google shares with us.
• Your writing: the ideas, outlines, drafts, reviews, social posts and brand voice settings you create in Relnk.
• Usage data: how you use the product, such as pages visited, features used and how many AI drafts and words you use, and how you found Relnk when you signed up (the referring site and the campaign tags in the link you followed). See Product analytics below for what is collected with and without your permission.
• Payment information: Dodo Payments collects your payment details. We receive your plan, payment status and billing email, never your full card number.
• Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, logs and error reports.
• Messages: what you send us through the contact form or by email.

We use your information to:

• Provide Relnk, including the AI features, your account and your plan (to perform our contract with you).
• Keep Relnk secure, prevent abuse and enforce plan limits and fair use (legitimate interests).
• Understand how Relnk is used and improve it: cookieless counting and the events our servers record (legitimate interests); analytics stored on your device and session recordings inside the app (your consent).
• Send service emails, such as password resets, reminders you scheduled and billing notices.
• Answer your messages and support requests.
• Send product news, only if you agree to it; you can opt out at any time (consent).
• Meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Relnk's AI features run on Anthropic's Claude API. When you use them, the relevant writing and context (for example your outline, draft and brand voice) is sent to Anthropic to generate a response.

Anthropic acts as our sub-processor. Under its commercial API terms, it does not use this content to train its models. It may keep API inputs and outputs for a limited time for trust and safety purposes, as described in its own policies.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that help us run Relnk, under contracts that limit how they can use it:

We may also disclose information:

• For legal reasons: if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or of Relnk.
• In a business transfer: if Relnk is merged, acquired or sold, in which case this policy continues to apply to your data.

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS). Passwords are stored hashed, sessions are kept in encrypted, HTTP-only cookies, and access to production data is limited to the people who need it to run Relnk. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will tell you about a breach that affects it, as the law requires.

• We keep your account and your writing for as long as your account is open.
• You can ask us to delete your account at any time through the contact form or at privacy@relnk.io. We delete your account and writing from our active systems within 30 days. Copies in backups are removed as the backups expire.
• Payment and invoice records are kept by us and by Dodo Payments for as long as tax and accounting laws require.
• Analytics, logs and error reports are kept only for as long as they are useful, then deleted.
• Messages you send us are kept for as long as we need them to help you.

Depending on where you live, including in the EU, UK and EEA under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct data that is inaccurate.
• Delete your data.
• Export your data in a machine-readable format.
• Object to or restrict some processing, such as analytics.
• Withdraw consent at any time, for example to product analytics (in Settings under Account) or to marketing emails.
• Complain to your local data protection authority.

To use any of these rights, email privacy@relnk.io or use the contact form. We'll reply within 30 days, and may ask you to confirm it's your account.

We use a small number of cookies: essential ones that keep you signed in, and PostHog analytics cookies only if you allow them inside the app. Otherwise our analytics is cookieless. We don't use advertising cookies. See our Cookie Policy for the full list.

Relnk and our providers may process your data in the United States and other countries. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Relnk is not meant for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

If we change this policy in a material way, we'll tell you by email or in the app before the change takes effect. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
